Well, trade that mouse in for a paddle and come experience the dynamic atmosphere of a live auction. It costs nothing to come – simply register as you enter, collect your bid paddle and catalog. Then just sit back and enjoy the fast-paced, fun filled atmosphere of a Somerset auction. There’s no obligation to buy and we even throw in a free lunch!

Somerset holds auctions weekly throughout California. Attendance is FREE with no obligation to buy. Simply register for one of our events.

At the event, you’ll receive an auction bid number, paddle and a catalog of items to be sold. You are also encouraged to view items on display throughout the day.

• Preview items before you bid. We encourage that you preview the items during the auction. All items are available for viewing throughout the day.
• Set the maximum you are willing to pay for the item.
• To bid on an item, hold your bid paddle in front of your chest or in the air. Your auctioneer will look you in the eye and acknowledge you by name or number to confirm your bid.
• Brace yourself for an exciting, fun filled buying experience.

After the thrill of your win, you may go to the check out counter to collect your treasures. Somerset welcomes MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. You can also pay by cash or check, with two forms of identification.

A 12 percent buyer’s premium – an industry standard – is charged on all purchases.

White glove delivery service is available. The charge is $75 for the first lot and $40 for each additional lot. The maximum charge is $275. A nominal mileage charge will be added for deliveries beyond 15 miles of the auction site.
